Situated on the bustling corner of 2 Killigrew Street in vibrant Falmouth, Cod On The Corner offers a truly authentic fish and chips takeaway experience that captures the essence of traditional British seaside fare. This local gem is beloved for serving up fresh, flaky cod and perfectly golden chips, making it a must-visit for anyone craving classic comfort food in Cornwall.
What truly sets Cod On The Corner apart is its uncompromising dedication to quality. Dropped in at lunchtime and grabbed the best fish and chips I have had for years. Lovely and fresh and perfectly crisp. Before ordering I asked the chef if their Cod Bites are real fish or more like fish fingers and he answered proudly "proper cod". Can confirm. Absolutely delicious and a generous portion for the money. When I'd tried a chip in the shop I told the chef I loved his food I was rewarded with a truly beautfil smile which tells you all you need to know.
